Macleans College is a leading academic secondary school located in the desirable East Auckland suburb of Bucklands Beach. Students are offered two academic path ways. These are the Cambridge International Examinations and the New Zealand National Certificate of Educational Achievement. Many students achieve Top-in-the-World and Top-in-New Zealand in CIE while at NCEA many gain scholarships including the Premier Scholarship. The spacious grounds overlook the Hauraki Gulf where the college offers a yachting academy and nearby the Howick Golf Course attracts a number of students.
